@sheogorath Funnily enough it seems @orbifx 's PGP key is not available through WKD :)

@wiktor

I wonder if you use a different mail address than I do. Because the one I used to send mails to is available, even when the policy file is missing.

@orbifx

@sheogorath @orbifx Yes, that may be it! I looked for "orbitalfox.eu" on keyservers and concluded that the only match is "the" e-mail address.

Sorry for the confusion then! :)

@wiktor
All good, it it seems that there is some room for improvements. I also need to complete my WKD setup
@orbifx

@sheogorath Yep, the most interesting thing is that PGP-aware e-mail clients will automatically download the key via WKD when composing an e-mail (includes Enigmail, Mailvelope, Mailpile...)

@orbifx

@wiktor

I know, that's why I pushing it so much. Will publish a blog article later. Try to make that today.

@orbifx

@sheogorath

👍 Good idea!

It's also possible to use WKD with `--auto-key-retrieve`. An example: `curl metacode.biz/.well-known/secur | gpg --verify --auto-key-retrieve`. Although locate-key and e-mail will be the most used feature I guess.

Just for the record, if the key is fetched using WKD and expires, GnuPG will automatically re-fetch it using WKD too. So in theory it would be possible to use the key without keyservers.
