Seems like another blog article sneaked out:
It's a short tutorial about how to use @matrix room directories. As I recently learned on how to use the directory selection feature, it might also be worth reading for you ^^
Want to organize your household? Time for spring cleaning?
Well, get your fridge digitalized (without weird "smartfridge" components):
A simple web application, that can also run it's own embedded version as desktop application, to inform you, when food expires, what's the current stock and to organize a shopping list.
Of course it's self-hosted and provides a containerized setup for easy installation.
I might look even more detailed into it later next week.
GitHub, Go, rant
Why are go developers unable to sign their software
"Here is my repo on GitHub, just download the binary form the release page" Right… since we never ever saw people taking over GitHub accounts /o\ And no, providing a checksum file on the same page, doesn't help at all.
Please don't simply throw away security practices that we implemented for years and that have been proven to work and prevent real damage.
If you want to hang out with a few more funny people, may consider one of the rooms I run on matrix:

Google does not "sell" your data
"... suppose a company wants to acquire data about expecting mothers. It can buy a list of a million device IDs that a data broker believes to belong to such women. The company can upload this list to Google and target an ad at those IDs. If even a small fraction—say, 1%—click on the ad, then 10,000 people are sent to the advertiser’s landing page, where they automatically share their IP address, cookies, and possibly geolocation data."

🤬 Why do I get a message saying "We updated our privacy statement, by continuing using this product, you consent to it" from my NAS?
You are a piece of hardware which sole purpose is to abstract this HDD into a network device. You are in my basement, I own you, you shouldn't change contract details on your own.
