I encourage everyone to upload media to Wikipedia and help different articles.

Nobody anticipated the world to not be the same anymore. Best we capture the lives we live today and save it for the future.

I am considering using Yuno Host and I have questions

How is the experience after 1 - 2 years? Did you experienced any instability or breaking issues?

What is the specs of your server? How much CPU, RAM, storage you needed to allocate for running (all of the) services?

Is there unattended update feature for services?

If you are using RPi4 image, how is the speed after activating all of the services?

Here is a video demonstrating how to reach the ID collection statistics that #microg provides from within #CCTG. Version 1.10.1.1 makes it slightly easier to access.

Quantifying Gnome contributions by frequency, tenure, and affiliated companies:

Whilst the methodology can't be perfect, it's a nice way of measuring contribution trends.

Fancy, my GitLab instance is about to reach 10000 ran CI Jobs. I guess it'll take a few more days. But It's already at 9628 jobs. Given that this is just me and a few friends using this, I'm very positive about the level of automation achieved.

Changing default branch of a git repository. Current status: I deleted the past 2 days of work, jumped through a few hoops to recover the branch I didn't have local, changed the default branch successfully without losing any progress.

I don't think I'll do that again that easily.

gaming nonsense

Stronghold Warlords is around the corner. If instead of creating an entire new game, just fixed some (AI) bugs in Stronghold Crusader and provided an easy way to play with friends over steam, they could have sold that game for 29.99€ once more and people would have been buying it happily. But no, they come up with this entire new setup pushing the Stronghold series once again upside-down.

My webpage isn't the greatest piece of CSS and web programming. But it's my playground for all kinds of things and micro optimisations. And when there is a problem I already figured out while playing, perfect, just get the inspiration from there.

If you still have IE compatibility code on your website, consider dropping it.

It's been there for a long enough time.

What are the options, maybe even somebody's free hosted, such as #write.as, for posting an article now and again? (I forget the name of the version for self-hosting.) Does it have a feature to require a password to view an individual post?

Mhm, I thought a bit about improving the linux desktop world: github.com/flathub/flathub/iss

It's nothing really original but let's see where it leads. Ideas, hints, etc. are very welcome.

My gitlab got a bit annoying today. Crashed to times and didn't automatically recover. Time for some duck tape -> cron.

As the old sysadmin wisdom says: If nothing helps… cron.
